I couldn't play the cello the way that I do, and create the sound that I love so much, without the wonderfully creative and innovative folks at D'Addario strings. They are constantly working to upgrade and adapt their strings to satisfy musicians' needs. The ability to use their products and to communicate with them about my string needs is a great gift. These fantastic strings totally suit my needs: durable, fantastic longevity, full of diverse tonal color, and quick to settle into stable intonation. I couldn't ask for more. I've been using these strings for more than 20 years. 

D'ADDARIO kaplan STRINGS FOR CELLO

I'm relatively new to Kaplan strings, but am very happy with the uniquely big full sound that they produce. I will definitely continue to experiment with them. when I first tried Kaplans i could feel their broad range of harmonic response: FAT LOWS AND SINGING HIGH HARMONICS. I appreciate all of the diverse POSSIBILITIES that D'Addario offers, and this is DEFINITELY one of my favorites.
